Prerequisites

  • Confirm the registered Breeze API key and the static-IP entry for that key.
  • Confirm ICICI Direct accepts the assigned IPv6 in the current account workflow.
  • Use api.icicidirect.com for order routing; other Breeze hosts are not enabled automatically.

Individual-account instructions

  • Register the assigned address while procuring or updating the Breeze API key.
  • Wait for the broker-side static-IP confirmation before sending orders.
  • Run a read-only Breeze API request through the proxy before live trading.

Family instructions

  • Treat each Breeze API key and client identity as a separate approval record.
  • Ask ICICI Direct to confirm any family/shared-IP arrangement before reusing an allocation.
Family sharing requires the broker’s documented approval. Servloci can prepare the setup or request, but cannot approve it on the broker’s behalf.

Common errors

  • The static IP was registered against a different Breeze API key.
  • The SDK used breezeapi.icicidirect.com for a feature outside the supported REST order origin.
